Address Signs
Does your home have an address sign that:
is reflective or illuminated to ensure visibility at night and in foggy conditions?
has good contrast (ideally a reflective background with white numbers)?
is large enough in size (at least 15cmx45cm) to be visible on approach
is placed within 3 meters of the road access, and repeated if the house is down a shared roadway, way from obstructions (eg parked cars or vegetation), and at the level where vehicle headlights can illuminate the sign (1 or 2 meters)?
The Northside Fire Dept. Association is offering reflective address signs to help emergency services quickly and accurately locate your property. For just $55, a durable, highly-visible sign will be provided and installed. Once your sign is ready, we will coordinate installation on a suitable existing structure at your property.
To request a sign, fill out and submit the following form, then send an e-transfer for $55 to NFDAFundraising@gmail.com. Indicate "address sign" in the message.
This program is limited to Northside residents only. Only one sign per household. This program expires September 30, 2026.
